Hello everyone. I’m a seasoned Disney visitor from UK a d just when you think you know it all you come unstuck and learn new lessons! We visited MK yesterday and it was truly mobbed in fact the heaviest crowds we’ve ever experienced. I couldn’t work out why and then it dawned on me. Our day was sandwiched between 2 Halloween party days. So those of us Dumbos without party tickets made the wrong choice by visiting yesterday. And it seemed like the park was full to capacity. I think that must be the explanation. Don’t make the same mistake that we did, that’s my advice. Thanks. Bob

Welcome to the forum! You are right, during party season non party days will always have higher crowds than party days. That being said, yesterday was predicted to be an 3and was a 4.

Well bob, You have two choices it seems. Go on days between MNSSHP events which are crowded, or Getting kicked out of the park early (5pm EST). Of coarse you could fork out $157 per person to participate in MNSSHP then you wouldn’t have to worry about the crowds until the party starts but then again it is going to be crowed either way. Now for us seniors, you can keep the party and we will leave at 5pm. Now if you plan to eat at the Magic Kingdom, your safe to stay until your done dinning where there after you are escorted out of the park if you don’t have party bands.

I had this same experience the year before last, except with the Christmas party. It was the most miserable morning I have had at MK! Then last year, same weekend, I went on the party day and it was empty.
But if you want to see the night time show, that really stinks.
