MK 2-day touring plan: why no Festival of Fantasy parade?

Hey folks!

I’m planning the first WDW trip of my 2.5yo son, and it caught my attention that Festival of Fantasy is not a part of the MK Two-Day for Parents with Small Children. Other touring plans with less time cover the parade, so why wouldn’t this one cover it?

I can get around this by doing a shorter lunch break or doing a personalized plan, but I was curious to understand the reasoning behind this to see if there’s something I’m missing.

The only thing I can think of is that they revised when the parade was closed during Covid. Or that the parade is during the afternoon break in the plan. I would personally prioritize the parade over the fireworks with a small child for crowd reasons and sensory (my kids didn’t like loud noises at 2.5).

I am 50 and I still don’t like loud noises. I would enjoy fireworks so much more if they were quiet!

Thanks for the answer. It probably is during the break. I’ll try to take a smaller break in our first MK day for him to see the parade.
