Minion Breakfast, US City Walk and parking

Staying at offsite place by WDW, but I plan to drive out for a minion breakfast at 11 am. I understand that there is parking and that I can get it validated to be free if I self park.

  1. is the above correct wrt validated self parking being free?

  2. Can I take the boat from Loews to City Walk, spend some time there and then come back?

  3. Will parking cost still be free?

  4. If not, which is better place to park? loews or city walk parking area?

Unortunately, I can only answer question number two for you, which is yes, you can take the boat back and forth between any of the resorts and CityWalk anytime they are operating.
