I see the dates for 10/21-10/25. I’ve never been to WDW when there are special event parties. What time are party guests permitted to enter and what time do regular guests have to exit the park? Trying to decide if DH and DD should try to go to MK early on a party day and ride standby or if they should go another day and buy LLMP/LLSP.

I can’t speak to October dates, but we were there last year in early September. We did MK on a party day and then park hopped to HS. Guests has to be out of the park by 6 pm. We have been to WDW several times and I do not recall the park ever being so uncrowded. There were people and Fantasy Land was busy with toddlers and preschoolers, but overall the lines were short. We effectively walked onto several rides and the ones we waited for were typically 20 minutes or less. Tron was the exception, but it was the still much shorter then other days. October may be busier, but I think MK on a party is the way to go.

4pm for those without an AP or PH ticket for that day. AP and people parkhopping can enter like usual. People without tickets are supposed to exit by 6, they certainly can’t enter any attraction line after that. If they have dining reservations by 6:45, they can eat and then get escorted out.

I suggest going to MK on a party day. People feel they are not getting a good deal on their ticket by going on a day where the hours are shorter and then missing out on evening entertainment. So they rather not go to MK on a party day. As such, the park is way less crowded on a party day. If they have park hoppers and they want the evening entertainment, they can come back on another evening just for those.
MK will start getting crowded when they let the party guests come in right around 3:45 pm or so.

We have daytime tickets for MK and then tickets for MNSSHP the same evening.
If we want to take an afternoon break and return at say 5pm, can we re-enter on our “daytime” tickets without waiting in the party wristband entrance lines? (We would theoretically pick up party wristbands at one of the locations inside the park). Or will we be waiting to at the entrance with all the party-ers who enter at that time?

We arrived for our party around 5:00-5:30 and there was not a big line. There probably is right at 4:00 but it subsides by 5. There was entry for regular tickets on one side and Party entry on the other - if you go through the party side they quickly get you your wristbands and bags, and shuttle you through the corridor with first candy, photo ops, characters, etc. You can probably access all of that after going through the regular line too and then moving over to the party bracelet distributors - they would need to scan your party tickets then.
Heads up - we had not been to a party in a couple years and they are now using ribbon bracelets instead of the plastic/paper ones. They are hard to get off without scissors! I had to gnaw through them with nail clippers since that was all I had.
