I don’t care, I love that name haahahahah

I was hoping for lunch, but I think dinner looks markedly better. That red snapper sounds delish!

now that i read this… that’s a little nuts.

$100 for a 24oz ribeye + app and dessert? Yeesh.

Very pricey but good looking menus.

Doubt I’ll go for dinner at that price though. Until a million people have gone before me and said it’s as good as CG and similar.

The steakhouse we ate at on Saturday in Lexington, KY had a 19 oz bone in ribeye for $70 on its own. Toss in an appetizer & a dessert and you’re right at $100 and you didn’t even get to go to space…

Presuming it is a premium piece of meat, that’s not a bad price, particularly for Disney…

How did I miss this was going to be pre fixe?

That is the best looking like menu I have seen out of WDW in awhile. Would definitely do lunch but only would do dinner on a very short trip and a special occassion.

oh i totally get it’s not “disney taxed” or anything… it’s just… that’s a $100 for a meal. I would totally balk at that anywhere else that wasn’t Disney.

I’m not saying I want to pay $100 for my meal normally. I’m just saying that’s kind of the going price for a primo steak at a bunch of nice steak houses. Now will Space220 live up to the level of a premium steak house? That’s going to be the question. But if they do, I wouldn’t be upset dropping $100 for a really nice steak in a special Disney environment…

If it’s on the same level as Citricos, we’re gonna be juuuuust fine

The cheesy naming of the dishes doesn’t mesh well with the upscale price and menu. “Satellite Sides”, “Lift-Offs”, etc? Sounds like it should be Quick Service from Tomorrowland, not a (real) imaginary space-station restaurant.

Might do lunch, but the food itself is a little upscale sounding to me. But I’m in it for the experience, not so much the food. So we’ll see.

Wow. Definitely a no go for us. Food is too upscale and price is too high. It’s sad because DS9 loves space and this would have been fun for him. But I’m not paying for a $400-500 meal for my family to complain that the food is weird.

And I agree that the names of the dishes don’t lend to an upscale feel. Sounds more like names I would see at QS restaurants.

Looks pretty good. I’d like to see the kids menu and pricing though!

And I agree that Disney seems confused about the atmosphere of an upscale space station restaurant.

Same!

I gotta agree with this. The two stand alone just fine, but do NOT go well together. “Rocketship Rib Eye with Man-in-the-Moon Mac and Gravity Gravy!”

Price point here is probably too high for my kids at this stage (my 4-year-old announced last night that she no longer likes bread.). But I’m hoping with these new restaurants opening, ADRs will shift around in the next few days and I can snag a few I’ve been keeping my eye on.

We are very excited - we will be at EP on the 20th so we have put in alerts on reservation finder…and plan to rope drop there…

It seems to be very similar to a restaurant my kids loved when they were little. So much so that even before the menu flash it’s a major for our trip this weekend.

I’m gonna keep going, cause this is fun:
Uranus Uni Carbonara
The kids’ menu should be called “Dwarf Planet Bites” and all of the dishes should be named after Pluto (we still love you, P).

Oooh, since they went with EARidescent, we need to go with EGGstraterrestrial frittata or something.

What about A Pollo 13, a Spanish-inspired chicken dish with 13 ingredients?

Hot wing dish named Solar Flare? A build-your-own kids’ dessert that includes an American flag to put on top of a grey-frosted pocked cupcake?

I have SO MANY TERRIBLE IDEAS guys. Though it’s really hard to beat “Neptuna Tartare”… Unless you guys like “Earth Meat” to go with the “Space Greens”

WHY IS THERE NO MILKY WAY DESSERT?

Clearly.

(Oh…uh…did I just say that out loud?)

Astronaut ice cream is notably absent, as is any name involving Uranus.

I like the kitschy names. There are plenty of serious steakhouses around. Of course this isn’t the official menu, so plenty of opportunities to de-fun the place.
