It was but then our wonderful bar might be kinda low.
Bus for Epcot came soon enough. Maybe real soon.
Since December there’s a new routing into security from buses. That was interesting.
We went to Journey of Water with only one bench rest and restroom break.
JoW was very interesting. Looking forward to seeing it again.
Set off for Canada and the 360 movie. Kim discovered several topiaries and plantings that needed immortalizing. That was fun.
At World Showcase we adjusted our plan to do Canada in our Epcot morning and simply head to Rose and Crown. It only took me a minute to walk to UK
so we looked around at the plantings while we waited the few minutes to check in.
As we were going to the little seating area to wait we got table ready.
We were seated at the first table on the left in the outdoor dining area a minute or two before our ADR time of 8:15.
We ordered the beer flight and water and lemon.
Directly our water came with a request for food order. Which we gave: bangers & mash and fish & chips.
Here came our entrees.
Eventually our beer flight arrived thanks patrons packing the bar.
We ordered the sticky toffee, which was good, about the time the show started. All the package diners left with their drinks to go watch so we had a decent view of all the watery foggy laser stuff. Heard the booms.
We’d paid, and decided about 6 minutes into the show to start walking toward Beach Club. Several had the same idea.
The finale occurred about the time we were under the skyliner. I lived dangerously by bench resting under the SL. I’d walked all the way from UK at what Kim said was a pretty decent clip so a rest was in order.
Next rest was in the Beach Club lobby where we cooled off, watched some EMTs enter and head toward the restaurant direction (idk where they wound up). Kim got our Minnie Van ordered so we went outside to wait. The ambulance had a side light ably lighting the whole portico area. Good thing as there were lots of rideshares
.
Ours came right on time and we had good conversation with the driver til we arrived at our building and inside our room by about 10 pm.
So yeah, wonderful evening, good conversation with folks, discovered topiaries at Epcot and learned that Festival evenings have too many folks for Kim’s liking.
We kinda finished the day the way we started. Except no punny boat ride. ![]()
Tell me more?
Bus folk used to walk in the way we left. On the Epcot side of the monorail.
Now leaving the bus drop off area you keep left-ish approaching the park entry area on the parking lot side of monorail exit - watching everyone streaming down the ramps.
Rather small security area sort of under a ramp and next to the monorail station. Is this the area for special parking? Handicap and/or preferred?.
Then it’s through the ticket selling places and to the tap styles.
Exit to bus is still the same.
Oh that’s weird. It wasn’t like that in February either
I wonder, since your exit was the same, if it was a one-time thing that happened to happen when you arrived? Do they have all the bus “gates” set up over there?
Go back today and see what happens ![]()
We’re going tomorrow morning. ![]()
The usual entry path from bus lot was quite obviously blocked. Gate-ish and visually.
We didn’t go out the bus exit as we left by the IG and a Minnie Van from BC. But as we were walking in to Epcot it looked as tho the exit remained the same as always.
too. many. people. in Epcot.
If you get the chance, it is gorgeous at night!
That’s what I’ve heard! We weren’t late enough.
Probably have to wait till December. ![]()
“We’ll catch that next time!
