It was about which keys on a keyboard die first, and which never get used. The X key was purported to be used up first and Scroll Lock and Print Screen were relaxing.
ETA: It was the Tab key, not the X key. My memory is not good these days.

Honestly, every year I say I’m gonna make a plan to start investing. But I never have more than $2000 in the bank, and I don’t think that’s enough
The best thing to do is set up an automatic percentage transfer and then forget about it for 30 years. 
You can even have your direct deposit set up for this. It’s easier to handle when it doesn’t hit your operating account. I like to manage my own transfers now but this is how I started to get into the habit.
