This one is funny to me - I worked nights for many years in my 20s and had to call 911 several times for various things I’d see at 2AM. (Stack of newspapers on fire under an overpass, building fire, a window air conditioner unit sitting in the center lane of the parkway(!), drunk guy who fell face down on pavement while I was filling my car with gas and wouldn’t stand back up…)

Back then no cell phones so I always called from the nearest pay phone - at one point it occurred to me they’d start thinking I was causing all of this mayhem if they knew how many times I called in.
