Agreed! The summer days will get longer naturally. With DST, it’s too dark in the mornings and light till almost 9pm at it’s peak (at least where we are). I don’t like the lack of sunlight after work in the winter but the morning in the winter are already dark enough. I thought they tried this once, keeping DST all year round and reverted back quickly.
