The LA Times edited the story after out came out, saying it “didn’t meet their editorial standards”. Like there are usually 3-4 people who read an article before it gets published, and none of them read it, and went “yeah, this is going a bit too far”?
But no Huts
There were bleep out interviews from locals on the news the next day. That writer thought he was being witty and clever. But let tell you, Ms. Kim made sure to show him the door.
Stealing the Foo Fighters one!

There’s a great example of a man who continues to get better with age!!

Mind you I can’t say much, I always liked Rik Mayall.
No, but I do think he’s fantastic and entirely underused.
He was a legend
Oh I agree on both points.
I was reading Tom Felton’s autobiography and there was a great bit about Rik in one of the early HP read throughs.
Sounds like he was an absolute hoot off screen too.
This reminds me of one of the jokes in the Hamm and Eggz comedy skit part of Kitchen Kabaret (I miss that attraction!):
Hamm: Why was Chicken Little so upset the other day?
Eggz: Well, his mother fell asleep in a hottub, and his brother was born hard boiled!
This was for me.
Duck duck goose!
