They actually make a chardonnay cheese!
Just a little goes a long way.
People hate driving in my car because of this. Not me, I always put mine on. Itâs them, they hate putting their seatbelts on, and the car goes âDING! DING! DING!â ![]()
Seatbelt law
No negotiations required.
DH and DSiL were like this. I told DSiL I wouldnât get in a car with her if she didnât wear her seatbelt. I told her I would never want t9 be in a vehicle where someone died going through the windshield. She doesnât wear it all the time but does in the car with me.
DH was simple. I asked him should the kids wear their seatbelts (they were still in car seats when we had to have âthe talkâ). And the answer was of course (for the obvious reason.) Then I asked him how we were going to tell the kids they had to wear theirs if we didnât have to wear ours? He started wearing his. His child from his first marriage (8-10 years older than the younger 2) canât stand wearing his seatbelt. Well itâs because that whole family never wore them.
I remember always wearing ours. And as little children we would say, âbuckle up for safetyâ in a little sing song fashion.
Itâs just so automatic. But that dinging, it drives me bonkers. Only deranged people can stand it! ![]()
For me, Iâve just been wearing it for so long, that not wearing it feels funny. Like that lack of restraint into my seat just has be feeling like a very sudden stop would have me flying into space.
I canât even bring myself to drive across a parking lot without buckling up.
So you can imagine how likely I am to get on a motorcycle.
You only go 55mph in the left lane too, donât you?
Absolutely not
In the earlier days of the pandemic, when everyone stayed home except for Essential Workers, we amended the speed limit of our own accord. There was nobody out there with us, so we did not see the need to adhere to the arbitrary number of 65 (or in some locations 55) and instead bumped it up. The new limit is min 75, but more often 80. If you canât keep up, move over or better yet go back to staying home.
Very! ![]()
This is the case out where I live. You can drive without seeing anyone from town to town. If a car is going the speed limit theyâre usually not locals. There are so few people STOP signs are regularly oozed thru.
The writer-director of âBlood & Honeyâ says Bambi is the next public domain story he wants to do, along with Peter Pan
For as bad as B&H was, (2.9/10 on IMDB), it still made a twitch less than $5M in box office revenue on a $100,000 budget.
Honestly, this is a conversation with my almost 22 year old daughter about calling in sick this morning.
