Those are all great but I think the Yoda one is my fave. 
While those are cool bookends, true bibliophiles look down on ppl that have them. 
Idk… I was once told as a child that a true bibliophile looks down on no fellow lover of the written word and has many forms of book storage and fun bookends are one of them 
I saw a joke about bookends questioning why you need them 
. Of course I can’t find the meme/joke. All my bookends are unused since my books fill shelf wall to shelf wall.

So I don’t ‘get’ book ends, but not for the reason in the meme. There is definitely no room for bookends on our ever overflowing bookcase.
My issue with bookends is that they don’t work. I once had a short shelf on a longer wall, so I got a book end to use at the non-wall end of the shelf. The books just kept pushing it off. It seemed heavy enough. I don’t get the point 
Ended up just turning the last 5 or 6 books horizontal.
My brother to this day teases me about a pink milk crate I found as a kid and used as a fancy “bookcase” My Grandma who was a Librarian made me feel better by saying it didnt matter where I put them as long as I didnt write in them or tear them thinking of it now I might be off to look for a pink crate today!
