Millennial here, but I like 80s music.
Because most normal millennials do!!
In the 80s, I didn’t like 80s music. I was raised on jazz, Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, The Four Freshman, etc. I also listened to classical music and movie soundtracks and show tunws. But, the popular music of the 80s I didn’t listen to nor really like. Of course I heard it. You couldn’t avoid it. So I was familiar with it.
About 5 years ago, my wife made a large playlist of popular songs from the 80s to listen to. I appreciate them much more now.
