I love that story. Always nice to hear about an unexpected inclusion. I bet the policy is inconsistently followed, unfortunately, or a person w/o an accent might be an international visitor who wouldn’t know to ask or be detectable to the CM. But it’s still wonderful how it happened to you!

Could I just run some numbers by you all on this thread? My oldest daughter is on our DVC contract and she is going to Cali with friends, hitting Disneyland for a few days. I’m just now looking into membership magic and thinking it’s worth it for her to get it to buy all their tickets.
If I’m doing the math right a 3 day park hopper with LL is $460 with membership magic. Just to buy the same ticket on the Disneyland website it’s $637. And on Undercover Tourist it’s $604. Even adding in the $99 fee (which I’m guessing they would split 6 ways) it seems to be a great deal. Am I missing something? I guess I’m just skeptical because I don’t often come across great deals with Disney!

Can you get the discounted tickets just for the main person on the membership or for all tickets they purchase? I don’t know the answer but that might make a difference. Otherwise the math seems sound.

Main person plus 7 more. Which sounds great and was exactly what I was going to do for our weekday only trip mid-May, BUT I am the owner and I don’t need a ticket since I have a magic key. So I cannot buy them for my family unless I buy and use one for myself. So dumb.

Should be fine as long as she buys the membership magic, and she buys herself a ticket and is there when they enter the first time. And make sure they have plans to be there Mon-Fri as the tickets are not valid on the weekend.

I’m sad for you and @PrincipalTinker. I was so excited to get mine. What I’m very sad about, though is that I’m going to miss the Zootopia magnet by 6 freaking days.

I think we’re going purchase MMB but I want to make sure I’m thinking about this correctly. We already went in Feb, so we should’ve purchased it sooner, but whatever.
There’s 4 of us on our contracts: me, my parents, and my sister. We collectively have 3 more trips to WDW this year, but in different groups. Next week my parents and sister are going (I’m not), in Sept it’s my sister and I, and in Dec all of us are going, but my sister arrives 3 days after the rest of us. It makes the most sense for my sister to buy, right? We’d only miss out the benefits (priority lounge access) for the few days before she arrives in December.
Also, does the priority lounge access work for DLR too? We’ll be there in June, so that’d be a nice addition.

I believe lounge entry includes DLR.
