Sorry, I will try to get some clarification from MS. I think the confusion stems from bookings generally being based on the use year, but the MMB privileges are based on a calendar year.
Iâm confused about membership magic for 2026âŚ. Does anyone know if it will include discount Disneyland tickets? The website is a bit confusing as it only links to 2025 ticket pricesâŚ
I hope everyone still thinks this is a good idea.
I just purchased it for 2026. No time to think about it right now, just went with it!
I too purchased today. I thought it was a great deal this year.
I will definitely be getting it! This year, I not only used the one-time points, I also bought a Disneyland ticket. The savings on that ticket alone were more than the cost of the program!
I donât remember if it was mentioned in this thread but we saw 2 groups board w/ all their luggage on buses in OKW. I thought luggage wasnât allowed on WDW buses but we saw it happening today. And DH saw ppl w/ luggage in DS the other day too.
at one point part of a family got off the bus to make room for wheelchairs, b/c the family w/ all the luggage was taking up so much space. Both instances the ppl were either going from Hospitality House to their room or visa versa.
I would chalk this under âbus driver CMs not wanting to rock the boatâ vs. any change to the stated rules.
I agree; the woman was pretty curt about demanding that the middle door and ramp be opened for her and her mom too ![]()
I remember you sharing this before. So, when I saw it for the second time in the same day w/ a different driver I started to wonder if policy had changed
That luggage displaced two other families w/ strollers ![]()
Crazy!
If someone took Mears, how.would they get to the room with their luggage from the hospitality house?
They have ppl w/ buggies/golfcarts to take you to your room, but yeah thatâs what I was thinking too; they allow it internally, except they donât have an internal bus at OKW. Once the front desk told me that bell services could help me carry bags upstairs .
That makes sense. The one time I stayed there I had a room near the hosptialtiy house, partly for that reason - I wasnât sure how to handle my bags.
I am confused. My husband and I just downloaded our digital membership cards to our Apple wallets. We have one membership number. I purchased MMB for calendar year 2026. My membership card is coded BY but my husbandâs is coded only Y. MS tells me that if he wants the benefits of MMB (priority access to lounges) he will have to also purchase MMB. Otherwise, I will have to be with him when he wants priority access to a lounge.
Does that sound right?
That sounds super petty but wouldnât surprise me if thatâs the official answer. I wonder if he could log in as you and download your membership card though?
Thatâs my understanding about MMB. I purchase it, and itâs mine. My DH does not have it, though we share a membership. Itâs not a problem for us because I am the keeper of ALL the Disney, and heâd almost never do anything without me.
. As an aside, when we go later this month for the princess race, heâs taking an earlier flight to give himself a bit more time (heâs racing, I am not). I am so curious how heâs going to spend those 9 lead hours before I get there!
As Jeff notes, it is petty.
I am really going to question if this is right, but I asked the MS rep if my husband also bought MMB, would he have the option of buying an additional 24 one-time use points at half price? She put me on hold to check, and came back with âYesâ. But my OTU points and his OTU points would have to be used in 2 different use years.
Trying to figure this out since MMB is good for the calendar year.
Yes, that is correct and how it worked for us in December.
Yes, sadly it is correct. MMB applies to the member who bought it. Which is really mean of them, imo.
I donât think they will sell him a second membership magic? I thought is was one per membership number?
