Good morning everyone!! I have a quick question please & thank you.
I am flying into MCO on JetBlue & it looks like historically, the planes are arriving at either gates 230 or 234 (which are the farthest away from the main hub heading to baggage claim). I’m just wondering if they have golf carts to help get at least to the elevators to go to luggage claim or if there are moving walkways. If not, it’s no big deal, but was just wondering.
They do have carts to take folks from the gates to the elevators - but I don’t always seem them consistently. You may need to wait for one or flag one down. Not sure if the gate attendants can call for them.
I have flown into Terminal C on JetBlue and you are correct - most of the time, we are at the last gate or the almost to last gate. But it is possible to be closer! Twice we were on the other side and a short walk through the food court. Fingers crossed that is your experience!
I cannot speak to MCO, but I know I’m Detroit as well as DFW you can request transport (i.e., wheelchair assistance) ahead of time through the airport. I don’t believe it is tied to the airline itself (although can’t be 100% sure since my sister booked the flights and airport tranport). I imagine MCO has something similar. We used this with my 91 YO dad when he flew down to Texas to visit my sister and brother.
Yes they do! Most times I have seen one waiting when we get out… just ask if you can have a lift. But agree they prob can call you a ride when you land.
