McCormick & Schmick's gift cards from Costco

I know I had read somewhere on the old chat months ago that you can buy these gift cards from Costco ($100 worth of gift cards for $79.99) and use them at Yak & Yeti (TS) in AK and Trex in DD. I wanted to confirm if this is still the case, has anyone purchased them recently and used them at one of these restaurants?

It appears the cards are sold there for the same price

Looking at their website it doesn’t mention those particular restaurants, however, a comment on the costco page says they can also be used at Landry’s locations which does operate restaurants in WDW. Nothing on the card or their website says this so you might want to call one of the restaurants directly to verify if they would accept it. If so that’s a great deal.

Here’s the number for the the GC support line so they might also be able to tell you…

For whatever reason, restaurant gift cards from Costco tend to be more restrictive than similar cards from other locations. For example, the Bloomin’ Brands (Outback, Carrabba’s, Fleming’s, Roy’s, Bonefish) (and yes, that’s really the company name) cards I get at Target can be used at any of the brands, even if they’re labeled for just one. The Costco ones are definitely only for use at the chain on the label. Probably because the Costco cards are discounted off their face value where the Target ones aren’t.
