I am using TP to help plan a trip this coming weekend to DLR. I am a huge fan of the Disney Dish so thought I’d try it out. Am having a hard time understanding the following:
After adding attractions and meal times and details re: LL, the touring plan omits huge chunks of the day, especially later in the day–i.e. it seems to front load things.
When I reorder things to more align with areas of the park I’d like to do together and/or click the add LL button, then optimize again, it doesn’t seem to remember any of the changes I just made including the attractions I’ve clicked for LL.
Some versions of the optimized plan put “obtain LL” AFTER the return time…?
Optimize will always rearrange your things to try for the shortest wait time.
Evaluate will keep things in the same order, and give you the new estimated times.
I’m not sure what you mean by omits huge chunks of the day? It is not always going to do things in order as quickly as possibe. If you want to spread things out more evenly, you can always try adding in additional meals or breaks to slow down the day…or force things to space out across the day the way you want.
I’m not that familiar with adding in LLs to my touring plan, so I may not be able to help much with that.
If you want to share the touring plan here, you can - to see what you mean. Click share plan at the top to copy the link!
If you have more time in your plan than you have attractions to fill, you will have gaps because it finds the best time of day with the shortest waits. which aren’t necessarily contiguous times.
But there is an option added recently. Look at Advanced Options, and put that you prefer to have all your free time at the end. It will no longer have gaps.
