We were supposed to go to DLR in September, but re-booked for 2023 because of all the construction. I’ve been looking at the DLR calendar for this year and the Matterhorn is closed for refurb the week were supposed to go. Is this a standard, annual closure (similar to Splash Mountain closing in the winter)? I’m trying to determine if it’s likely to be closed in September 2023 as well.

I think Matterhorn’s refurb schedule is more haphazard than Splash. It is unlikely to go under at the same time next year, but you never know. September is typically a slower month (becoming less true due to Halloween parties), so maintenance closures often happen during that period.
