MAJOR announcement for WDW

Thank you, it was awful. But he’s ok, no lasting effects.

Average height for a woman is 5’3, which is how tall I am. My DH is 6’3 too.

My mum was 5’, I bet she’s not now. And my DDIL is 4’10!

It does make me angry. He was just walking away from the gay village in the city centre, he wasn’t hurting anyone. But the main thing is that he was fine once he recovered.

Oh this makes me soooo happy!

I used to wear heels all the time. I even had high-heeled sandals and slippers. I found them more comfortable than flats. Unfortunately I have the shortened Achilles tendon to show for it, and sometimes standing on a flat surface is a stretching exercise. So, I had to give up the heels.

Those ones with the air under the arch, I could have rocked those. My arch is high anyway.

The pair like @missoverexcited is wearing are deceptively amazing. Because of the platform, the heel height isn’t noticeable when wearing them.

You’re walking in 6” heels, but it feels like a 3” kitten heel. Just watch those stairs (and potholes) after a few cocktails :woman_facepalming::woman_shrugging:

All my most comfortable heels were/are 6” platforms.

That being said, I’m really digging sneakers until I can get this weight under control again.

Not that I can walk in 3” heels either :joy:
