We are leaving Wednesday for Disney! Can’t wait. We all have season passes but my husband. I purchased him a 3 day pass over the phone. We plan to go straight to magic kingdom and not check in at hotel til after since we will be arriving late in the afternoon. He has a magic band since we staying at animal kingdom lodge. Do I have to do anything to activate his band or do with just go to entrance of MK and scan his band like everyone else
Look on his MDE account. If his new ticket is linked, and his MB is listed as active, then he’s good to go.

I think if ^^^ doesn’t work (or it’s not listed as active), if you check in online then his magic band should activate. Plus, if you’re driving, you won’t have to worry about paying for parking and then being reimbursed.
