Would love to hear details regarding how successful (or not) folks were in using Standby Skipper with LLMP in Magic Kingdom. Ideally, details right down to which attractions…
- you obtained through preselection (3 or 7 days out)
- you obtained through Standby Skipper
- you did via standby
- any other info you want to provide
Thanks in advance for your help.

I am curious about people’s real expierence, as well.
I am considering using their services for Magic Kingdom specifically. I’ve watched a few YouTuber’s try to use the app and it appears that they do provide benefit with not stressing about getting on your phone ASAP after you scan into your pre-selected LL. With watching those videos, it seems that the Standby Skipper will use your requested ride list & find the next available LL from the top of that list (so you should be smart in what order you list your rides on the Standby Skipper app). Then if you do not like what time they selected, you can go in and modify it.
The videos I watched were from users Danielle Warren Travel and Kayla & Mark Alan.

Thanks @tvtwholovestravel. Our group of 4 seniors plan to use Standby Skipper with LLMP at several parks when we go to WDW in a little over a month. I’ve watched the same videos you’ve referenced. There’s not much else out there that is helpful.
We started putting together a cheat-sheet to help us organize ourselves and use as a reference when we set up our SS searches. Below is what we came up with for MK. Still in SS learning mode to figure out certain scenarios. For example, should we use “Afternoon” or “Evening” rather than “Anytime” for Search #2. Or, must we wait until SS has finished fulfilling the list on Search #1 before submitting Search #2. Or, what scenarios call for using “ASAP”?
I do not use Standby Skipper but I do have BG1 loaded on my phone. Last Saturday I was able to get 12 LLs to use for the day. I pre-booked PP, Pooh, and HM. My resort arrival was a Thursday so I was booking MK 10 days in advance. We started at MK, hopped to Epcot around 11:00 and then hopped back to MK. We were back at MK at 4:00-ish.
LL’s for the day were: PP, Pooh, HM, Soarin, Nemo, Remy, Jungle Cruise, Space, Tiana, Pirates, Buzz, Little Mermaid.
I personally see no need to pay someone else to do what I can. I was only on my phone for the 30-60 seconds or less it takes to book each ride.

I used Stand By Skipper for my end of March 2025 spring break trip. I had trouble finding information on it on this website, so that is why I am posting. My neighbors on my block convinced me to use it. I am so thankful I got it. It is an amazing tool! It definitely kept me from being on my phone playing the refresh game for 10 minutes and more. At first, I did not trust it and was refreshing on my own, but on the Disney App it is harder to refresh the screen now with the simple pull down method on your phone and now you have to hit a back button etc. So I used stand by skipper and had much better success. The highlights: I got sold out slinky dog lightning lane day of by selecting slinky dog anytime while we were in EPCOT and got a 1:40 p.m. for slinky for my family so we took the skyliner over to ride it. It is also very easy to select which party members you want to search for rides for. This was very helpful as I don’t like too intense rides, but others in my family do. This device definitely got me many sold out lightning lanes. Not all though -never got Frozen or Remy, but did get sold out Tiana’s and Slinky and Peter Pan. Con’s: It would be nice to put in your initial selections ahead of the same day. My neighbor recommended I always just put the one ride I want next and put ASAP (or available in next two hours) down. I found that choosing ASAP was not working well for popular tier one rides, but if I broadened the search just a bit to anytime in morning or early afternoon 12-4 p.m. I got them within five minutes (when the Disney app showed evening return times or sold out return times) . I really recommend stand by skipper. I will definitely use it on my next trip. My husband remarked on how much less phone time and refreshing I was doing and thought it was an incredible invention.
