Lockers Question

Which rides require lockers at both IOA and US? Can one person in the party takes care of locker while others stand in line ? Can that person join the party inline ? We will only have one bag with snacks and our IDs etc

For Hulk, you must put everything including phones in a locker. For Forbidden Journey, and Hagrid’s, you can keep phones but bags/large items must be placed in a locker before you enter the line. For Velocicoaster, you can take your stuff into the line, and you will put you items in the locker about. 10-30 minutes before you get on the coaster. When you get off the ride, you get to the lockers from the other side. One person can take care of lockers for the rest of the party. I don’t think they will be allowed to go in front of other people to join the rest of your party.

The lockers are quick, your party can just wait for you nearby. Here is the info I have:

Locker Use at Attractions

  • If you have a bag, locker use is required at certain attractions. Small lockers are free but large lockers are not free.
    • These types of bags will fit into the small lockers: Mini backpack, drawstring bag, or sling bag.
    • Note that the complimentary lockers are only free for the duration of the attraction.
  • Near an attraction entrance, find the locker bank, scan your ticket, and look for a locker to pop open.
  • These attractions you may not take any type of bag or purse on:
    • USF : Revenge of the Mummy, Escape from Gringotts, Men in Black Alien Attack
    • IOA : Forbidden Journey, Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure
    • Cargo pants pockets that can be closed and fanny packs (3-prong closure) are permitted for holding items.
  • These attractions you may not take a bag or any loose items on:
    • USF: Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
    • IOA: Incredible Hulk Coaster, Jurassic World VelociCoaster
    • No phones, coins, wallets, etc. are allowed on (metal detectors used)
  • NOTE: You must take your ticket with you on the attraction, so you can retrieve your belongings afterward.

You may already know, but just in case you don’t… At each of these attractions there are larger lockers that cost $2 - $3 per use or there are free lockers. The free lockers are very small / thin…

(14 in. x 5.5 in. x 16.9 in.)

Most standard backpacks don’t fit. I see people trying to squeeze in a bag all the time.

Here’s a link to the bag I use. It fit’s perfectly into the free lockers.

What I typically carry in it - my phone / wallet, sunglasses (w/ case), back-up battery & cords, sunblock, large full size water bottle or Coke Freestyle cup, wand, band-aids / meds

I bought this backpack after you recommended it previously and it works fabulously!

I couldn’t imagine going without it anymore. My wife used the one I originally bought for our daughter. She liked it so much I’ve bought her one as a Christmas present to use as a daily purse!
