LLMP booking strategy?

We’re braving the Easter crowds and will be in WDW 4/12/25-4/19/25. With the new LLMP is there a recommended strategy for which days of your trip/parks you should book first when the 7am booking opens up? Should I book LLMP in the order of our planned park days or should I book in a certain order according to park popularity/LLMP competativeness? Here’s our schedule:
4/13 - MK
4/14 - AK
4/15 - HS
4/16 - rest day
4/17 - E
4/18 - MK

Thank you for any advice or experience doing this! It’s much appreciated!

If you want Slinky (especially during the morning), I would start with HS and then do your days in chronological order.

If it were me, I would book in this order: 4/15 HS, 4/13 MK, 4/14 AK, 4/17 EP, 4/18 MK

Jumping in on this, because this is my current plan… it might help you, or someone might correct me and then it might help you!

I check in on March 30, so can book 7 days prior to that and I’m not booking for everyday.

1st April - Epcot

2nd April - Studios (LLSP & LLMP)

5th April - Maybe Studios, we plan on getting there around midday and staying till Fantastic and have Droids booked so part of me thinks it might be a waste of money booking it for this day as it’s likely we’ll only get a few… any thoughts appreciated

6th April - MK (not going to rope drop but will probably get there around 10am so feel like it’s worth doing)

So I’m planning on booking in this order
2nd April - Studios
5th April - Studios (if we decide to do it this day)
1st April - Epcot
6th April - MK

I feel like the Studios ones should always be the first to be booked as they go quickly.

To confirm, you can purchase (in MDE) before 7 which you should do for each day. But then you can go right ahead and book your first selection in BG1?

If it were me, I would flip April 1 and April 5 if you want Remy for earlier in the day and a second LL very early in the day to open up parks/tiers, especially since you aren’t planning on arriving at HS until mid-day on the 5th.

definitely 4/15 - HS first if you want Slinky, Toy Story Mania, or Tower or Terror and are hoping for morning times. That’s your only HS day whereas you have 2 days for MK. On 4/13 and 4/14 are you hoping for morning times? It might help to hear what rides and times you’re hoping for in general.

Thanks for your advice! Yes, 4/13 & 4/14 we’re hoping for morning times. We’re planning to purchase LLSP for MK and possibly AK for Flight of Passage. Really hoping to snag Tiana’s and get all of the Tier 1 at MK over our 2 days. Also hoping to get Buzz, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates. If Winnie the Pooh, Small World and Speedway work out that’s great but NOT a must ride. At AK, trying to ride Na’vi River, Safari, Everest, Kali River Rapids, Flight of Passage. Not riding Dinosaur (too loud for our 9 year old). We’re early entry people so the earlier the better! :o)

I’d book Apr 5 last since it’s a 2nd HS day and you only want afternoon. Agree that it’s a judgement call whether to book for that day at all. Depends on how tight the money is, how much security you want, and whether you’d want to do anything twice.

I realized that I’m assuming you’re staying onsite. Please correct if that’s not true. Besides HS first, I don’t think there’s an obvious 2nd, but I think you’re going to be very successful no matter what order you use after that. You’ve got a great advantage booking out so far in advance by the end, and AK is easier to book. Some random thoughts:

  1. If you’re good with Tiana, Pirates, & Haunted Mansion last day, that would be easiest. If you prefer to book them for 1st day, then book that day right after HS. For 1st day MK, you’ll probably be successful with a morning Small World or Speedway to open up the 4th pick. I think the other plus Buzz should be fine as 4th+ picks. I’d pre-book Winnie the Pooh.
  2. Unless you want specific times for LLSP (or are staying offsite), I wouldn’t worry. There’s no advantage to booking those for early.
  3. At AK definitely pre-book Navi. I’d also go with Safari and Kali (in case it’s hot and extra popular). Everest should be fine for a 4th pick. (and I don’t love Dinosaur either!)
  4. Check Lightning Lane Availability at Walt Disney World | Thrill Data the day before to see if anything seems to be filling up for your dates and re-prioritize if needed.

Enjoy!
