I have LL multi chosen in TP app. When I optimize, it doesn’t suggest any LLs. Does that mean it is not needed?

Generally that is the case, however if you share a copy of your plan I could take a look at it for you.

Hi, adding onto this post as I had a similar question. First time using TouringPlans so just want to make sure I understand it. I’ve been to WDW once before, going with a different group this time and just looking to hit the highlights on our short visit.

Here’s an example plan I made for our group, hitting some “must dos” and hopefully leaving some time for spontaneity, too. Custom Touring Plan: MK- 10things - Fri 9-3 (later start)

This plan only shows us grabbing one LL/Multi in MK. I see that we should expect a low crowd at MK that morning. Should I add more attractions to get more use of the LL on the plan?

We are planning to go to HS that afternoon/evening. Should I use my 7-day window to book for MK or jump ahead to HS?

I don’t like how TP optimizes stuff and it doesn’t currently do a great job with suggesting LLs.
I would definitely rework that plan and select 3 prebooked at MK. I don’t like the back and forth between Tomorrowland and Adventureland. You have 2 Tier ones on your plan. I would pick one to prebook LLs and visit the other land first. HM and Pirates are the two Tier 2s I would get. Once you tap into each LL you can grab things at HS. That will take some planning. But Thrill Data will be able to help. Just look at historical days with similar crowd levels and to a lesser degree, weather. I wouldn’t go too far back though- some day in August or September should be comparable.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply and helpful suggestions. Being new to the TP system, I wasn’t sure if I should just fully trust what it suggests, or go with my instincts (as amateur as they are). Your reply was enough to help nudge me in the right direction.

I haven’t dug into thrilldata too much, but I’ll get more familiarized with it. 15 days till we fly out.. eek!
