Got off the DCL Fantasy last week and IāM SOLD on DCL. It was the Best Cruise Ever! Yes, I already bought the bounceback on board and booked the exact same cruise in January 2027. Dining room food was adequate, but every other aspect of our shipboard experience was fantastic. Well done, Captain Minnie.

There was the Disney Difference from the moment we stepped on board to CM applause and walked upstairs in the atrium to greet our old friend Mickey! I was sold in that moment which gave the same feeling as walking up Main Street USA.
Other highlights were a fantastic cabin steward, free room service breakfast on the balcony every morning, a fabulous brunch at Remy with a charming French waiter, seeing the Frozen show twice in the big theater, and catching Toy Story 5 in the movie theater. Plus a lovely day at Castaway Cay!

Jumping to the bottom to ask: which cruise lines/shops are good for teens? Iām considering NCL Viva.
We donāt want DCL, Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

I donāt have enough experience to answer your question, but we have a Royal Caribbean reservation for next year that will include some teens, so Iām curious why you donāt want RCL and if there is anything I need to watch out for.

Iām not sure how it would be for teens but they do have a teen room and free-style dinning. The FS dinning would be GREAT for a teenage boy and their bottomless stomachs 
We did a 15 day transatlantic w/ NCL and really liked it. We liked it better than DCL b/c it was smaller, less crowded, had free-style dinning instead of assigned dinner tables. The cruise seemed to be set up more for those that liked night life but we were very happy.

Iām waiting too. When Iāve booked these in the past, they were out as early as end of June but theyāve always been out well before the end of July.

Oh, itās just that Iāve been on RCL before (twice, actually). We had a great time! The only thing I didnāt love was all the constant add-ons that felt a bit nickel-and-dimeyā¦ I guess thatās pretty standard for the industry, but it didnāt feel as excessive on DCL or Carnival.

July 31, 2027 Discovery Princess 7-day Alaska southbound from Whittier to Vancouver (after 6 day land tour)
October 7, 2027 HAL Eurodam 16-day Panama Canal from San Diego to Ft. Lauderdale

Day one of our DCL cruise was just as bad as RCCL. I just thought the staff was better on RCCL than DCL. We may have had bad luck with having just gotten a very fresh bunch of CMs though. Disney seems to be moving their best CMs to the newer ships, leaving us with a bunch of CMs who often didnāt seem to know what they were doing.
None of it was bad though.

The only thing I didnāt like about DCL was all the āadult onlyā areas. Not the best when you have little kids.

I got an email the same day you posted this saying ānew days addedā so I thought it was new iteniraries. It was more dates eligble for discounts.
