Yes! We went in 2022, so I have some idea of what to take. Right now, I’m trying to remember what I took that we didn’t use. I definitely overpacked last time.

I’ll take any and all advice! I have a feeling I’m going to pack too many warm clothes.

It’s so hard to know how many warm clothes to pack. I took several hooded jackets of diferent weights, plus an outer waterproof jacket, plus light gloves. Layers are the best. We had several day which were very chilly, and a couple of warm days. I definitely took way too many dressy clothers! Pick a color - navy or blue pants/dress, one pair of dressy shoes, and take a few different tops to coordinate.

I just booked March 2027 Carnival Venezia. It is spring break. I have never travelled on Spring Break. I went for balconies in case we need to hide in our staterooms.

Spring Break

I did a New England/New York/PA “spring break” cruise (Easter/April vacation) out of NJ and went in with low expectations and was really, really pleasantly surprised. It was probably our favorite cruise yet. They almost ran out of ice cream but otherwise didn’t run into any crowds or any shenanigans.

Where to begin? Not only is October 11th not tomorrow, but 90 hours is also not tomorrow. I am at a loss for how they are programming this notification.

Ah, I figured it out. It must think you are on Mercury. As long as you aren’t more than halfway through today, 90 Earth days from now it would be tomorrow on Mercury. (But it would also be next year! )

It was 90 days away, so that was my only thought? Some intern was at it again though, for sure!

People seem to be anxious about departing a cruise from New Jersey in October but I would rather be in NJ than on Mercury!

DH and I are headed out on the Disney Treasure from PC for the Eastern Caribbean 7-night cruise. Dates are October 10-17, 2026.

9/13/2026 DH & I RCCL Star of the Seas - 7-night Eastern Caribbean w/Perfect Day from PC

We sailed on this ship last September, and decided it was our new favorite class.

@melcort10 Keep your eye on the app for your sailing as you get closer. At about 69 days out, they added the entertainment dates and times for the big shows - and you could make reservations. I pounced on them, and made sure to get Back to the Future, Torque (AquaDome show), and Sol (ice show) all booked at times that worked for us. Reservations just allow for early entry so you can be in a far better seat than if you entered just before show time when they open it up to anyone - and you get standing room only or really bad seats.
