I’ll try to keep that in mind!

If you like grilled cheese, check out Cheese Louise! They also have a potato donut shop. I love Portland.

I think that they do this a lot in Europe and I do think it is allowed, but I also would hate to pay for a 9 day cruise and join on day 3 or 4!

MSC does a great job marketing their Mediterranean loops with sections for embarking:disembarking based on location. So on your 7 days cruise you could have multiple sets of neighbors.

Ya the loop I could be interested in where you still get 7 days. I would be curious how it makes the ship feel though if you are constantly having people embark/disembark. Like is it always chaos? At least on a regular 7 nighter things settle down.

Probably not as people get on and off at ports all day anyway.

on the med loop, how many of those are using the boat/tender thingys and not being able to just walk off the boat onto a dock. I’d rather be on dock for a stop than have to take a tender/shuttle to port.

58 days to my Fantasy 4-night.

I didn’t post at the 90-day mark when I booked some plans, but currently:

  • 10:00pm - Bourbon Tasting

Day 2: Nassau

  • 11:45am - Discover Scuba Diving

Day 3: Lighthouse Point

  • no hard pre-booked plans

Day 4: Sea Day

  • 11:30am - Palo Brunch
  • 04:30pm - 50-Minute Massage

Day 5: Disembarkation (Port Canaveral)

Has anyone cruised out of the Cape Liberty? Our cruise in October is from there, and I’m curious as to how to get from the Port back to the airport…and potentially also how to get from the hotel to the port on the front end of the trip. I know Uber/Lyft is an option…but I would think there would be some kind of shuttle option. I’m not really seeing how you would know or book such a thing if there is.

Perplexity AI tells me that Royal will offer a transfer that may or may not be visible in your cruise planner. One of the links sent me here:

We have cruised out of there twice and I have a refundable deposit to sail out of there again in October! We always drive and park there though. It’s a great port, in my opinion. No frills though. I would look at the hotels to be advertising a shuttle.

We already have a hotel booked. It has a free shuttle from airport to hotel. But wasn’t sure how to handle getting to the port the next morning.

Yeah. That’s what I’m finding. I don’t see evidence of it. Thanks for the info!

I think that if the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle then you would have to take a Lyft.

@ryan1 do you not see this excursion option in the app? It’s under Cape Liberty.

I’m laughing a little on this description because we are on Oasis… I wonder why Liberty needs an extra 30 minutes.

And… Independence isn’t even listed!

$64 pp is crazy expensive for a 9 mile bus ride.

I would just take a Lyft.
