DD15 just realized the full extent of what a pocket knife could be and was amazed. I don’t know how this information was kept from her except DH’s leatherman disappeared from the kitchen knic knack box years ago. He has a 3 inch folding knife in there, but that isn’t the same.
I have four different ways to break the glass in my car in an emergency and was showing them all to her. One of them is a hammer/sestbelt cutter with a pocket knife on one end that includes a small wratchet set. She was amazed, and will be getting a leatherman on a special occasion soon.

My mom got busted coming through customs with an apple in her purse. A beagle came and sat next to her and looked up. Now when she has to do the extra search when she comes through customs, she thinks, “I’m glad that dog was so cute.” Apparently getting busted by a dog is friendlier than being busted by a human.
I cleared airport security at least 4 times before being caught with a small, flat one.
Final advice to @SamRothstein DLR has so much that is so pretty to look at, be sure to admire what is arround you. But also, you will have rides down and things not go right, but that is so much less catasteophic to your day than at WDW for two reasons: 1) the size of the parks - you can pivot and walk 300 steps to something else instead of half a mile 2) the sheer quantity of rides makes getting a different LL easy, and always haveing another option. Something about DLR just flows in a way that supports spontaneity.
Ha! I will admit that DL is superior to WDW (my unbiased, Californian opinion!), but you have Safari animals and we don’t. But I’ll take our lumpy security over flying east to WDW any day.
I used to work booths at conferences. So you arrive at your booth and there are all these boxes you can’t get into! My colleagie who helped back the boxes always taped one on the outside for me. He has since passed away for some reason those little things are nostalgic for me.
