Legoland Florida 2026

I’m planning a trip to Legoland FL in April. I don’t see much chatter about LL here in the forum. Any tips for visiting that park? It’ll be my DS8 and me. Some things I’m wondering: Is 1 day enough? LL hotels look cool but I’d probably rather stay at a WDW resort to capture some of that in-the-bubble feeling on this trip. Is this a good idea or bad idea? Tips for best price on tickets? Thanks!

I haven’t been to Legoland FL

But I have been to Legoland CA :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

We were staying in a boutique hotel in Longbeach and decided it would be simpler to drive to Legoland, hangout and then drive back to Longbeach rather than pack overnight bags.

We nearly instantly regretted that plan when we drove onto property and saw how much fun the Legoland hotels looked.

I like the Disney bubble as much as anyone but some year I’m gonna stay at a Legoland hotel.

It has been many years since my husband and daughter spent a day at Legoland. However, I did drop them off and pick them up because I need the car for the other kids. What I vividly recall is how awful the traffic was going both directions from the general Kissimmee area. I just looked briefly and their park hours are 5 PM or 6 PM. That would be an awful time of day to get from Haines city back to Kissimmee. I would plan to get dinner in that area or something and wait it out a few hours till the traffic lightened up.

We have never been to the Florida one but here’s my tips based off Legoland NY. It’s also my usual Non-Disney park advice.

Rope drop the back of the park. Driving school should be your priority and then the single boat rides like Coastguard Academy and Aquazone wave racers.

I looked at a map and the new coaster is also towards the back next to driving school so I would probably try to do that early as well.

Have fun! And set your expectations that your kids may want to play with Legos for way longer than you would like for the $$ you spent on tickets!

Thanks for the replies. My original plan was to stay in the Disney bubble and drive to Legoland. But after your feedback and showing my son some YouTube tours of Legoland, it looks like I will be booking a Legoland resort stay. He’s smitten by LL’s theming. I tried convincing him that we should stay at Disney and drive to Legoland but he said “I’ve already been to Disney world. I’ve never been to Legoland.” Sigh
