Our first trip is coming up in just over a week. Are ressies a good idea or unneeded for Leaky Caukdron and/or Three Broomsticks for lunch or dinner? What about mobile ordering? TIA
There are only breakfast reservations for both of those restaurants which I don’t recommend. The breakfast is not as good as the lunch/dinner menus plus that’s prime touring time. Universal begins to get crowded around 11am in my experience so tour up until then at least, then stop and eat. You can mobile order and I recommend doing so.

Both are a hybrid counter service/table service and do not accept reservations. You will order at a counter, get a candlestick number holder, and be seated at a table. Your food will be brought out to you.
Mobile order is recommended and you’ll skip the ordering line.

Three Broomsticks wasn’t on the list for mobile ordering last week, just so you know.

I had this issue during my April trip. Only Leaky Cauldron had mobile order.

Two weeks ago the line moved so quickly for 3 Broomsticks. It was so organized. And they helped people find tables. Our group of 10 didn’t even throw them. It was pretty great.
