I’ve been visiting WDW the last few times and now am back to DL next month! Kinda a last minute trip so need a refresher.
I have a list of lightining lane drop times that were accurate 4 years ago, how can I see what is still accurate anymore? BG1 went down due to Disney changing their system last winter and wondering if it’s back??? I sure hope so, that was a game changer for me.

As of now, BG1 is fully functional. Disney could try a new block but at any time so we are just thankful for each day it works.
So you can book and modify thru BG1 again? I wasn’t able to do it when I was there in early Feb.
It is on and off depending on how stringent Disney is being on a particular day. Don’t bank on it but if it’s up, feel free to use it. I found that MDE is perfectly acceptable at DL cause there is less need for lightning fast speeds to pick up drops, etc.
Today, Disney has disabled the security that was added that interfered with BG1. It could be turned back on at any time.
Ah! So that’s why BG1 has a red warning that it may or may not work for booking, “only God knows.” I find BG1 way better than the DL app for monitoring RTs, SB times, and drops, and it’s not too bad to book thru the DL app in combo with watching BG1.
Yes even when it’s not working for booking, it usually still works for watching / tracking! Great interface for that. I used it that way just a couple weeks ago so I know it is working.
