Island Tower @ Polynesian

Anyone have inside information on how much rooms will cost at Polly’s new tower? Bookings start June 4th for DVC and June 5th for AP, but you have to call to book. Online bookings start June 6th. It says they have rooms that sleep two. I wonder if it’s something similar to the tiny rooms at Riviera.

They are the duo studios. I would think the cash pricing would be similar to Riviera but would be suprised if it was just a little bit higher being a monorail resort.

Nobody has that information yet.

That is what I’m thinking. If it’s only slightly higher I definitely want to try it out. They haven’t shown us much, but the little bit I saw of the lobby area looks beautiful. Much brighter than Poly.

I feel like they have really strung out the opening and new feed with the Poly tower. Like just give us all the info already, please! :joy:

IKR! If bookings start next month, can we at least get concept art for the rooms already?

$503-$628 for the duo studios for my dates. Not too far off from Riviera pricing. I’m so excited!!

Today is the day!!! TP is on time as always. They just did a live on Insta of a deluxe standard. 31 days before I get to check out the tower and duo suite. The fireworks observation lounge looks fab. From what I understand, the spaces are for resort guests only.

I heard this is true of all areas beyond the main floor - elevator access requires room key/MB scan which is ideal.

Len said he’s knocking on doors to tour the rooms :joy::joy: (I’m sure he’s not but I suggested a buddy text system in case he goes missing, lol)

It’s that shallow shelf around the top edge of a pool that’s where people can sit or lounge on chairs. Examples:

All the lounges / observation decks / relaxation areas look so gorgeous! :star_struck: I also love the restaurant patio design. I really want to stay there …

Ah interesting. That’s a nice addition I guess!

I love them. It’s easy to get a splash of water but still lay out. Not necessary. Just a luxury.

Agreed! I rope dropped the sun shelf at the pool at Coco Cay! Just had no idea it had a name…

I enjoyed the sun shelf last year when we stayed at a bougie resort in Seychelles (it was off season in mid-Dec so not as $$$$$). The spa had an amazing series of pools!
