Is it smart to go straight to Gringott's

Short answer: if you don’t have EE, save Gringotts until late in the day. In the morning you’ll waste 2 to 3 hours of prime touring time in line. Between 4 & 7 right now it averages a 90 min actual wait. Singles is about 30% of posted standby, but you really do miss half the experience & most of the story if you skip standby. Just don’t wait too long because the queue closes early, 8 at the latest lately.

Thank you for this advice! 1.5-2 hour wait is completely doable on our parts. We just read the predictions of 5-hour waits in the TP plans I’ve been generating and that made us panic, haha. Do you know when the earliest is they’ve ever closed a line and/or what the line closing window would be for days they’re closing at 5pm for HHN or 8pm (standard closing time during the time we’re going)? Thank you!

The que closed hours before the park a couple weeks ago. So, if the park closes at 10 and there is a 3 hr wait at 7, the que was closed at 7
