Incredipass Annual Pass for March 2027- Hold or Buy?

My family of 3 are scheduled for a trip in of March 2027 and will purchase an annual pass starting then. We have the cash set aside and can buy the tickets early . I was thinking it would be prudent to purchase (but not activate) the tickets before a presumed October price hike.

But then… I’ve seen creators and others who suggest the price may go down and/or incentives may be offered. So know I’m wondering if we should hold off for the best deal?

Knowing that few of us have a crystal ball and my own decision will basically be a guess. But curious wwyd… Do you think the incentives or price adjustments may actually happen?

With the recent wave of passes coming for sale and then not for sale, it’s probably the best just to buy them when you can. I don’t think I’ve seen any incentives for the Incredipasses since the pandemic was lifted.

I doubt prices will go down – at most they will offer a Dining gift card for $100 if sales are low. “Holding prices steady” is the new “price decrease.”

They haven’t paused sales in a while either, so I wouldn’t be too concerned with that happening, though you can never guarantee.

I would buy at least a few months in advance. If a price hike is advertized, the third party resellers will often sell you “discounted” tickets at the old price (which is higher than their discount before the price hike, but it gives you that dopamine hit).

I and my wife have gotten the Incredipasses for the last 5 years. They have never gone down but each year they have gone up. The date you first use them becomes your anniversary date and there renewal will start on this date whether you renew early or late. You save about $100 a piece on renewal.

I do not believe that annual passes have ever gone down in price, and in fact there was at least one year where they increased the price more than once!

I was in the same boat only my trip isn’t until May. I bought the Annual Pass on my birthday (8.20) because everything I read said prices go up in the fall. Also, just knowing I have it (even though it will be a while before I activate it), makes me insanely happy!
