Has anyone used in park nanny services at WDW? It’s looking like I’m going to be on my own with my girls (8 and 5) in April. DD5 is around 42”. There are really only 4 rides she can’t do yet, only 2 of which are really must do - EE and FoP. Space and Tron are great, but not priority. I don’t want to send DD8 all by herself, so I’d love to have someone that can be with DD5 while I take big sis on these couple of rides. I know a few of these types of services exist and would love to hear first hand experiences if anyone has any. Thanks!
I haven’t, but I am available for hire! ![]()
Hope you find someone. Are the boys taking a trip somewhere else?
Ditto! ![]()
This blog post is 4-5 years old already, but has a review of a specific service provider.
My oldest started real school (we’ve always homeschooled) this semester and has a school calendar to abide by now
. DD8’s cheer team has qualified for Worlds at Universal, so that’s why we are heading to Orlando in April. I gave DS11 the choice to come on this trip, or wait and go somewhere with DS13 during a school break. He opted for the latter. We will probably do HHN at Universal during fall break.
ETA - Means more trips for me, so I’m totally ok with it ![]()
Yay! It is hard having to abide by a school schedule, but you will hopefully get used to it. How is he liking it?
Well, he started last Wednesday, went for the remainder of the week, plus Monday, and has been home sick since. His fever is still over the threshold today, so he won’t go back until Tuesday. I’m so nervous for him. He already had so much catching up to do just moving from our curriculum to the school’s, now being out for almost a week will put him even further behind. He seems to like it though. Well, the fact that it gets him out of the house and around other kids. On principle he dislikes it because it’s still school ![]()
Schools are such germ fests! Hopefully he starts feeling better soon.
Noooooooooooooooooo.
Literally the worst for me.
Once my oldest kid started community college work in grade 10 it was the worst. Thankfully the four year age gap between kids 4 & 5 gave me some years back. ![]()
It’s a huge adjustment!!
I’m considering this company. Anyone have any first hand experience?
