Glad you made it. Safe travels!
They board 30 mins before flight so I wasn’t too worried, lol
So jealous Guardians is absolutely my current favorite-
And the most tempting of the no-rides post op rest and recovery trip
I was far-warned that my kids will be stalking photo pass for Everest and Guardians.
It actually feels cool(ish) this morning.
First time having a line at the Pop Skyliner station.
BTW if you’re traveling in the skyliner and happen to hear, “Weeeeeeee” from a passing skybox, it’s DH. It’s his thing, lol.
Please remind me not to leave my phone in a restroom in Disney
Almost to Epcot! We are making great time.
I made that same vow 40 years ago and only broke it once, for the “Epic Liner Meet” in 2022. I won’t break it again. Having to factor survival into the equation, it kind of takes away from the overall experience.
Following your trip. Don’t push too hard. My experience was that up until 10:00 it was more or less comfortable, it started getting uncomfortable between 10:00 and 12:00, and by 2:00 I had to be inside somewhere.
Definitely feeling it warm up, lol.
Back in March somehow they goofed and 1 less seat was available. Whelp. It happened again!! they even pulled us through early since nothing but big parties in front of us.
So I got to request B2.
Also, we got our room assignment. Was hoping on 50s section. But the backside of Bldg. 5 isn’t a bad location.
Walked through JoW, wanted to like it more because I love Moana. But it’s a once and done.
Also, we thanked the (edited, because it said Venetians and I would thank them if they could bring me some shade but they aint, so Im not!) Phoenicians. Have about 20 mins to kill before GotG!
Looks like a great start!!
And we got September. Don’t love it. This was our second time. Thankfully I didn’t have a screaming fanatic in my back ear this September. So it was kinda fun.
On a Friendship boat to France. We will probably spilt a sandwich before heading to HS.
The seasonal draft at Refreshment port is a citrusy cider. Country Boy. Pretty good.
It’s really so much better at night
We ate at Les Halles for the first time. It’s ok. DH got the Jombon (ham and cheese on baguette) I got it on croissant for a few dollars less. His was dry and too much bread with little meat. Mine was just right. Get the croissant. We treated ourselves ti desert. We normally dont. But I love a good Creme Brule. This one was just ok. It was cold so maybe that’s what I’m not used to. But it hit the spot.
Seating there sucks. So we walked closer ti the water and sat by the perfume shop. On our way to HS now. I believe we’ll take the boat.
There is no way we would survive without neck fans.
Starting to get hot. I planned on pushing through just for today, lol.
But we chicken out fast.
Was going to ask you about them, then forgot by the time I read your update, lol. We bought one of the blade less, and I have an old school one I like that blows directly at your face and can be adjusted. Trying to decide to rotating these is enough. Don’t really want to haul a bunch of stuff all day long.
For the window blinds??
You didn’t ride with @ThorKat ?
We keep the neck fans on our neck because I just brought my little backpack. I like the ones that have air all around. My back of my neck sweats more than my face.
We have a power pack but normally they last through a lot of the day. Since it’s so hot we may need to recharge them for the evening. Maybe.
DHs can be twisted at the back of the neck to change the angle a bit. Mine is stationary but Im ok with it. It blows on my cheeks too.
Good day, this is what happens when you go to Disney on 5 hours of sleep. I’ve made an editorial correction.
She would have been fine. The lady in March I wanted to punch. Screaming bloody murder! The. Whole. Ride.
