YES, when I saw this on Disney food blog, I showed it to my husband as further evidence that WDW is much the best place to get married. Even he had to admit it looks pretty cool.

Very cool, and a brilliant cost cutting move on Disney’s part. Covering a square cake in white fondant is relatively simple; a “cake decorating 101 skill”. Paying a cake artist to cover an entire cake in flowers, sugar lace, ribbons, boarders, etc is what makes a wedding cake so expensive. This way, the cakes are all the same size and shape, andthe projection is basically pre-programmed (“add name here”), It’s win-win; the couple gets a really cool cake, and Disney saves a couple hundred buck on making it.
