Tab and I rode during fireworks (by accident) and it was super cool.
As of today I now have all the operating hours for my trip.
I’m gaining two hours on Tuesday and two more on Wednesday than TP predicted.
However, I am losing two hours on Thursday as DL isn’t open until midnight as predicted
It’s still a net positive and I can start really planning now. (Although I still need TP to update that Soarin will be back from refurbishment during this week)
Last night I told DW about Matterhorn being closed and even she understood what a big disappointment that is going to be.
I called DLR about removing Park Hopper from my tickets. I was told that with a hotel package you can’t change that part of the ticket. I would have to make a new reservation with the current rate. I’m going to leave it alone. I doubt I will use it, but maybe I will out of spite! ![]()

On the bright side, at least you have flexibility if you need it!
Just curious… How “rough” is IncrediCoaster?
- Mild - Some shakes and rattles, but doesn’t hurt you
- Moderate - A lot of rattling, it might hurt neck / back
- Severe - Violent ride that leaves you in pain consistently
Feel free to comment!
Ooh, I would totally do this. But I would also really make sure you maximize use of your LLMP with some hopping around.
I’ve never done a ticket package either and that’s lame they don’t allow for that kind of change. ![]()
It bumps my head just a touch every so often into the shoulder restraints, but if I keep my head against the back of the seat, that completely eliminates any bumping.
My back is ground beef. I need some kind of assistance with any Disney park (heck, I need some kind of assistance inside of Walmart) Incredicoaster is FUN!
If you need help like you can’t get around stairs, ask the CM right at the handicapped sign at the queue right across from the exit, and they will send you up and down two elevators.
Like a lot of rides, I feel BTMR is better at DLR. I’m curious if you will feel the same.
Compared to Hulk and RRR at UOR, it is very smooth. Like @lolabear_la said, it helps to keep your head back.
I’m in this club too. We never prioritize BTM in WDW unless we are with someone who wants to ride it (and I think the last time I personally rode it in WKW was my first time there). But I will include it at least once in every DLR trip. And it’s one some of my kids will do a re-ride several times through at night, and we do love timing it with FWs too.
DLR about removing Park Hopper
Oh, and spoiler alert. Hopping from DL to DCA is actually easier than hoping from UOF to IOA!
Incredicoaster is amazing! Make sure you ride it in the daytime and nighttime too.

This is super helpful! Thanks!

I’ve been wondering how long it actually takes to get in-between them. My understanding is there is no more security screening once “inside”.
How long do you think it is from the Plaza Inn to Carthy Circle?

I will! I was trying to see if riding it back-to-back at the end of the night would be too rough

It depends if there is a line at the taps to get into DCA, but it could be under a minute. That may be a slight exaggeration. Let’s say 2 minutes.
I find Incredicoaster to be smooth as butter for 99% of the time. That said, sometimes they slam the brakes on hard at the very very end before the loading platform and that can give a bit of a jolt.
I need to decide on which “smaller” attractions to repeat and which are once & done
What is you favorite Fantasyland Attraction (pick 2)
- Alice in Wonderland
- Casey Jr.
- Dumbo
- IASW
- Mad Tea Party
- Mr. Toad
- Peter Pan
- Pinocchio
- Sleeping Beauty Walk-thru
- Snow White
- Storybook Canal

This really changes how I think about park hopping then! I’m used to a 10 - 15 minute transition from USF / IOA - if you are near the front of each park.

Not even a little bit! And it’s so so great at night.
One time my older DS & I ran from Big Thunder after FWs (so ~9:45pm) to Incredicoaster and made it to the line before the park closed at 10pm with at least a few minutes to spare and were loaded onto the 2nd to last train to run.
When that train came back in, they only had a few rows to fill for the last train so they let people know who were exiting that if they wanted, they could ride again. We hurried back into our seats & got an immediate re-ride that way. And when we pulled back into the loading/unloading platform, the CMs at were all chanting “One more time! One more time!” so our train started chanting & they re-did the loading procedures to check restraints, and we went off a 3rd time. It was an amazing memory. And not at all an issue to ride that much in such a short time!
And definitely 99% smoother than Hulk or RRR.

Correct. The security perimeter is enclosed around DL, DCA and DTD, so once you’re inside, you don’t get rescreened. There’s no rescreening from park to park or from DTD and back. The hotels are considered outside the perimeter.
Once you leave one park, it’s less than 5 minutes until you’re inside the other park.
