I believe Pirate League was announced to permanently close before the pandemic hit. The closure moved up because of the pandemic park closure but I don’t think it will be coming back since WDW had plans to get rid of it already.

It was super fun, my DS did it once and then my whole family did it on our next visit,

Sad. My older DDs did it once (BBB was full), and it was a great experience. Oldest DD was a pirate, and they painted younger DD like a Mermaid. Great work.
