“ Disney Jollywood Nights – a new, separately ticketed event from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. on 10 select nights Nov. 11-Dec. 20, 2023.”
I don’t have a holiday trip planned but this is very tempting:
“ Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host a live holiday special at Theater of the Stars with some of their Disney friends.”
If I do go to Grinchmas at UOR this is very tempting! SW is having a sale on flights through today… I have to figure out what I’m gonna do!
Oh now that sounds fun! I like that there’s something new and different! I’d be all over that if I were there on those dates, and would prioritize that over MVMCP
So no TSMM or MFSR or MMRR? This is intriguing but I wouldn’t be able to skip a park day and do just this instead. And the soirée and jazz lounge sound like they will cost extra…
It doesn’t sound like it would be an MVMCP type of event.
It sounds a bit more grownup - and definitely more my style/speed even if there are costs to some things.
Aware that as an AP holder, a hard-ticketed event is easier to swallow in terms of expenditure.
So now two parks will close early for guests who don’t want to attend the parties. Ugh! Sorry to be a Negative Nelly but reducing park hours at the park that has some of the highest wait times stinks.
YES!! I might even try for these tickets!
The goal before the pandemic was to sell 3 tickets to the same park as often as possible.
A early morning ticket for a couple hours before park opening.
Regular day guests
Nighttime events after 7pm
I was one of those people trying to do it! IMHO - they’ll try it again in 2024 when the park reservation calendar goes away
I think HS typically closes at 8pm at that time of year.
I may be mistaken, but I think that is the case.
And they most certainly close at 9.
So we’re talking 30 minutes.
When we were there in May they closed at 10:00. The last Christmas we were there was 2019 and SW:GE had recently opened and DHS was open until 9:00.
True, 30 minutes isn’t much unless they close an hour early before the event like they do for MK Christmas party.
Yes, there are times of the year that the parks stay open later.
Yeah I did note that it might be 9pm, but again this party starts at 830 so meh IMO
Just book it already. You can cancel/modify later
Yeah, I am doing this.
Any ideas on how this will effect Deluxe extended hours? Both parties have Monday and Wednesday dates.
I like your style.
None probably. MK parties aren’t on Wednesday when they have deluxe hours and Monday hours are at Epcot which doesn’t have any parties.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Maybe they will switch parks for the Wed 22 MMVCP (E on the 22, and MK on the 20th).
Good point. Sometimes they do the deluxe hours at HS instead when there is a conflict. I think they’ve only done that a couple of times though so I’m not sure.
Yes! This event sounds great!
