Normally I would say walk or boat from the International Gateway. However at the moment, the boats are not running, so walking would be the best option. Around 20 minutes at a leisurely pace.
And you can always stop along the Boardwalk for ice cream/ snacks/ a drink on your way 
going mid july
The boats should be back up and running by Mid July so that would be the easiest option. Out International Gateway, hop a boat and rest your feet. Walking may be quicker if you don’t catch a boat quickly though if you still have the energy…
