How do we know which park is early entry?

Staying at WDW and hopping over to USR for the day- how do we know which park will be selected for early entry? We plan to be at the gates by 8 AM. Part of me wants to start at the non-early entry park, while the other part of me says screw it and just follow the 2-parks-one-day day set touring plan. TIA!
