Looking at location and pricing. Could save about 1/3rd cost staying here but reviews are not great.
Also not sure how long the walk is.
Otherwise, I’d go with Fairfield or Anaheim resort as the next lowest priced which are closer.
Or hotel indigo which is further but cleaner and might be a little less expensive
I haven’t stayed there, but it has gotten terrible reviews for all the years I have been going to DL. The walk would be pretty long. Not sure I have heard of any liners staying there.
We have booked it twice and the first time it was very basic, could tell it was very worn down, but it worked out just fine. The 2nd time was possibly our worst hotel experience in Anaheim (short story the room was bed bug infested, not just a few) and we hadn’t come to the room in the middle of the day to check-in like we normally do so it was already 11:30pm when we figured this out & nothing was available to get into for less than $300/night, so we spent the night in our car in the parking garage they had us park in next door which was for the Marriot Residence Inn which is where we ended up for the rest of the trip and they did let us into the room right at 7am, the very second they could.
And besides the beg bug infestation, in the 30-45 minutes we were in the room getting settled before realizing how awful the room was, we went to the front desk 2x because the room key kept not working (both times we came back into the room from unloading the car). And at that late hour the line to talk to the front desk was long, so I’m assuming many people had all sorts of issues.
This is a horror story and reminds me why I’m always willing to spend a little more now that I have the means to decrease the risk of this situation happening. Granted, bed bugs can happen anywhere. But that sounds like an extreme case.
Everything seems to be really bad about that Anaheim portofino.
Another really inexpensive option is king’s inn but I think it might be really far, and the more I think about it, I’d rather stick to the close on harbor " experience"
Haha… it’s no Disney world bubble but man these motels are expensive for what they actually are. Location location location
It has gotten so crazy over the years too! I price out the 5-6 closest and if there’s one that’s WAY cheaper than the rest we’ll usually go with it, but if they’re not too different we chose the Park Vue because their customer service is the best and they are the closest.
