Hello, we are planning a trip in early 2025 and waiting for hotel promotions to be announced for that time. I know a travel agent would help with this. But, we used one last trip and decided to go our own way this time. So, I’m wondering, do they preannounce deals? I have looked through posts here where someone has said that on a certain date XYZ promotion will come out. Is that typically how it goes? Will I know ahead of time? Or do I need to be checking every morning to see if there is a new promotion. I’ve seen the mousesavers calendar for history of promotions so expecting September.

I always just check the forum - because someone usually knows when it is happening.
I believe TAs are given a heads up when deals are coming.
Sometimes they pre-announce it, and sometimes we wake up (even as TAs!) to a surprise
