I’m paranoid I’m forgetting things. I’m local, but my parents are coming in town and we’re doing one day at Epcot for holiday festivities (this Monday 12/9). After last year’s trip to Mickey’s Very Hectic Christmas Party, I’ve assured them this is the Disney Christmas of magical dreams lol.
I picked a day that MK has full hours - so hopefully that will help with crowds a bit.
We have a dinner reservation to get seating at the 6:45 candlelight
I got Guardians LLSP this morning since my mom is a big coaster fanatic
Also on my list: Voices of Liberty, Living with the Land (after dark), storytellers (figuring out which to prioritize)
Am I forgetting anything? I’ve shared the festival booth menus so everyone can look over them in advance.
Help me make sure this goes smoothly! Usually I’m an absolute pro, but my living locally has weakened my park warrior abilities, and one day during holiday season has me a bit nervous.
Love love love LWTL with the lights and can’t wait for my mom to see it. It’s her fave ride and she’s never seen it!
Noted on your fave storytellers - I think I’ll have to prioritize which ones we see. So I’m keeping track of which ones get shootouts from people.
For the drummers - do you know if their show is different for holidays? We’ve seen them a couple times and love them - but if I have to prioritize, I’ll move them down the list if they do their usual show.
LWTL is a must see, especially if it’s getting dark or is dark. Lines can get long.
My favorite storyteller is in Norway followed by France and UK. I also enjoyed the Italy one and the Hanukkah story teller. The one in Japan told a story about the new year which was interesting. I actually found them all to be quiet fascinating.
We also like the cookie stroll. Got our five cookies over two days. We brought gallon zip lock bags as DD21 and I would just sample a few bites of each cookie so we had room for the festival food. We would eat on the cookies throughout the day.
Here is a list of all the EPCOT Storytellers and Entertainment along with their scheduled times:
Each Story lasts 15 min, and the way the schedules are arranged, for the most part you can move around World Showcase hitting each Story along the way.
Edit: It works best if you start at Mexico and move clockwise.
