On my trip last month I was struck by how superior a ride GotG is with the original music, compared to the holiday song that was my only previous experience. (I rode twice this time and got “September” and “Disco Inferno”—both were great.)
I’m bummed at the prospect of the ride going back to that blah holiday mix on my next trip in December later this year.
So I wrote to WDW. Maybe they’ve gotten some other negative feedback about the holiday song, and adding my two cents will help. Or maybe some of you reading this, if you agree with me, will take a minute to send feedback too.
Here’s my message:
Hello! I’ve just started a tradition of visiting WDW every year in early December. I was there in 2022 and have a trip booked for December 2023 already. I’m writing to BEG you to NOT bring back the holiday song for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. I just did a quick WDW visit about a week ago and was able to experience GotG with two of the six regular songs after having only ridden with the holiday song back in December. The ride is SO MUCH BETTER with the regular songs! The holiday song is muddy-sounding and not nearly as fun — please don’t repeat the holiday song substitution later this year! Thanks for your attention.
