We are closing out our Disney year with a “just us” trip tied into a convention dh will attend at the Grand Floridian. It started as just the convention days, Fri-Sun, but thanks to Disney math it is now a 7 day, two resort extravaganza! We will most likely not be renewing our annual passes so why not go out with a bang.
The Basics
Drive down Sunday, check in at Pop Century, attend Mickey Minnie Christmas party for the first time ever!
Monday: Epcot, Behind the Seeds tour, dinner at Minnie’s Holiday Dining in HS
Tuesday: Magic Kingdom
Wednesday: Hollywood Studios, liner meet at Brown Derby!
Thursday: Epcot, dinner at Trail’s End, charity event at Grand Floridian with fireworks viewing
Friday: Animal Kingdom, Caring for Giants, check in to Grand Floridian
Saturday: FLBS dinner and fireworks dessert party at Epcot
(Florida Biomedical Society) We did this at the last convention in 2019. It is super cool! They bussed us up, took us behind World Showcase, and escorted us into the American Adventure which was set up with the dinner. Then they escorted us to a seating area on the lake where we had dessert and watched the fireworks. I hope it’s a similar situation this time.
We’ve never stayed this long on a Disney trip. I am both nervous and excited! Our first trip this year was cut short due to my brother’s medical emergency, and our family trip in June ended early due to everyone getting Covid, so it’s hard to get too hopeful. But if we can pull it off it will be an awesome trip!
