New to DLR forum, multi-year lurker at WDW forum. Grew up going to WDW because my grandparents moved to Florida in 1971. Recently moved to CA, right before the pandemic began, so my dream of seeing DLR has been on hold for WAY too long. My DD 32 and I are trying to plan a trip for this November, and I’m trying to find out if there are any hard ticket events at DLR during the holidays and if folks think they are worth the time and $$. Thanks in advance.

They had the Oogie Boogie bash over at DCA right before the pandemic, which I liked better than the previous versions at DL. I had also heard that the winter theming blew away WDW last year by leaps and bounds, but I don’t remember if it was a ticketed event, or just normal park hours.
So I think the answer is yes, and yes.

There was a ticketed event last winter, Merriest Nights. I went and enjoyed it, but you don’t have to do it to enjoy the holiday stuff, except for the awesome Muppet Show traveling bus which was the highlight.
