Great googly moogaly, all FF passes are sold out for the season.
Ok @darkmite2, DH and I will be in the park around 4:30 for stay & scream. I’m thinking we are going to go to Springfield area and use stay & scream to eat, have a drink since we have express pass and we will start with Universal Monsters as our first house. Is it best to just go counter clockwise around the park? We won’t be riding rides… our goals are just to hit all houses and one showing of Nightmare Fuel.
Are there certain houses that we should wait until it’s dark outside to go in them? My husband is most excited for the Last of Us so I feel like we want to wait to do that one until a little later after we haven’t gotten our feet wet with a few other houses. Or should we be knocking out Last of Us first thing?
Since you have Express Passes you will rarely more than 15 minutes at any house - Even the most popular houses.
Getting food in Springfield is only Duff Brewery and the line is crazy long. I would suggest eating a snack before going.
Do Stranger Things before Bloodmoon Dark Offerings. They end at the same area and you see the finale of ST when you do Bloodmoon.
Definitely start in the back. The 9:30pm Nightmare Fuel is the busiest.
I’d go counterclockwise doing houses through Diagon Alley. Get in queue for Nightmare Fuel at 7:25pm - 7:35pm… End the Night back at Last of Us. You’ll pass good food options along the way.
My HHN House rankings… Last of Us isn’t in my top 5
Thanks for the response! Ok so yeah I think we will hit monsters first and then head towards the tent houses! try to hit the 8:00pm Nightmare Fuel and then keep working our way around! We are able to hang out at Duff Brewery though instead of hurry and get in a line though right?
I saw your rankings and wasn’t surprised about where The Last of Us fell. I’ve seen more people rank it at the bottom of their ten than at the top! I still think we will angle to finish the night there rather than start with it though… but who knows what we will end up deciding to do! haha. I’m just so glad we have express this year.
I don’t want to waste time in food lines, but I was willing to wait on the Fedra food ration can. However I saw the rumor that they were out of those cans for the season.

Absolutely! There’s a bunch of great tables right along the water / behind Duff Brewery. I hung out there, met people and then grabbed a snack once they opened the food booth nearby. I strolled right into Monsters with no wait even after it had been “open” for about 15 minutes.
It’s not bad at all. IMHO the “issue” is that It’s just recreations of scenes that aren’t immersive. At one point the actor playing Joel just kinda stood there and waved hello at me! There are scares, but think of the house more as an “exhibit” and you’ll be fine
The food lines, just like any QS, have “rushes / waves” if you go between 8pm - 9:30pm there’s going to be a long line. If you get there early or late you’ll be fine.
These are the same cans as Who Hash. I don’t know if they sticker them on-site or have them done at a factory. I bet they’ll have more out this week. HHN is “closed” on Mon. & Tuesday. They’ll have the next two days to catch up.
If the cans aren’t back after this weekend, then I’ll be concerned.
The Jurassic Park Tribute Store is now Extinct!
On the Discover Universal Podcast they said this will be the Christmas Tribute Store this year. It will allow them more time to put it together in this location rather than trying to convert the HHN store within two weeks.
Even though I was able to go through the JP tribute store multiple times during two separate trips, I still feel a little sad about it closing. It was SO well done!
This was definitely the best Tribute Store I have visited! The merch was “fine”, but all the Easter Eggs, photo spots and memorabilia made it special!!
I’m definitely interested in what Christmas will bring now that they have more time to work in the space. I enjoyed last year’s Christmas Store. However, I grew up on Department Stores & Window Displays so it had a lot of nostalgia for me. (I heard many ppl say it was “dull” on social media)
On the Universal chat there has been talk about an early BOGO HHN ticket offer. I didn’t see that this year but I am told I missed it. Did anyone see it? I am wondering timing of the offer.
I didnt see the offer either.
I spent a lot of time yesterday searching to see if I could find evidence that it was offered but the last time I found it was 2020?
Hours of searching I found this on Reddit:
Historically, (this can change at any notice) there is a house announcement in early Spring. With this announcement single day tickets and some RIP tour tickets will usually go on sale. In some years they have also announced a buy one get one sale at the same time. But, there was not a BOGO in 2022 or 2023. Single day tickets went on sale March 23, 2023.
Later, during the summer, they expand the tickets to include multi night tickets. In 2022 that happened in late July, in 2021 it was in early August, prior to that it had been happening in early June. Multi Night and all ticket options were opened on July 13, 2023.
This seems right (but I can’t find the offer after 2020). I booked my resort 9 days before dates for the event were announced. If I missed a BOGO offer in 2023, I don’t want it to happen in 2024.
As youv’e found they haven’t offered BOGO tickets in awhile.
Thank you for confirming!
This is more of a “general” Universal News item, but posting here first for us HHN fans…
Universal has announced the name of it’s upcoming year-round Haunt in Las Vegas…

I will be looking for an excuse to pop into Sin City after this opens!!
(I love Magic, Comedy, Cirque, Pop Concerts & etc… there’s already plenty I’d like to do in Las Vegas. This gives me another reason to make it out there!)
For those still going…
The Chucky talking popcorn bucket is back in stock after being sold out for a bit!
I really wanted one of these, but couldn’t justify the $45!
there’s an AP discount
We got ours at 20% off
Oddly, TMs were giving me the AP discount everywhere even though I’m Seasonal AP. (especially HHN food booths)
However, I can’t justify $36 + tax either!

IMHO - They should give you unlimited popcorn, or a 90% discount on popcorn, for a period of time (Either through the “season” or something)
DH wanted it and that was all he wrote ![]()

I loved the Michael Myers / “Halloween” children’s book!
